What once began as a 19th-century gold-mining settlement, Johannesburg or the "City of Gold", is South Africa's biggest city and in the top 50 Urban areas in the world. Described as Africa's economic powerhouse, Joburg is known for being the heart of commerce, government, and action in South Africa and boasts the tallest buildings and skyline on the entire African continent! Its sprawling Soweto township was once home to Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu, and Mandela’s former residence is now the Mandela House museum!
Located near the the Melrose Arch you will find everything you could imagine to fill your time outside of truASCENT! You will find plenty of shops, dining, museums, theaters, and more to make your stay in Johannesburg one for the books!

Refunds
truASCENT tickets are nonrefundable and can not be resold. There are no exceptions.
Deadlines
Tickets
Individual tickets can be purchased beginning November 4, 2020 and ending on January 18, 2021. Take advantage of early bird pricing and buy your tickets by December 20th! Prices are as outlined below.
Tickets purchased between November 4 and January 18th - $20 each
Onsite ticket price - $35 each
Must be registered by 1/18 to be a valid ticket and to have a printed name badge.
New Policies
Saving Seats
We understand wanting to get the best seat you can during the General Sessions, but we ask that you please do not save seats in between sessions. Please be thoughtful of others that want to sit close to the stage as well and enjoy all the General Sessions have to offer.
Children
We ask that you do not bring your children to truASCENT. We do understand that for some of you this is not an option. If you must bring your children to truASCENT so that you may attend, we ask that you are respectful of the other associates in attendance. Please sit toward the back of the General Sessions and if your children get loud, please escort them out of the room. Also, please do not let them run around and play in the aisles during the General Sessions.
